Oru Copper Pendant Lamp by Vim & Vigor
For this project, designers Vim & Vigor drew inspiration from the art of origami. They explain, “There’s something magical about transforming a flat sheet of paper into something entirely new and beautiful. After days of brainstorming and exploring ideas, we came across an image of a vessel with folded corners. We thought, ‘What if we combined cutting and folding techniques with a traditional spun metal form?’ We knew instantly we were on the right track.”
The Oru pendant lamp features a large, semi-spherical shade with a polished copper interior and a burnished exterior. Its unique finish makes it suitable for both private and public spaces, perfect for contract projects and for adding a distinctive, elegant touch to any environment.
